Aligned with our vision to bring clean drinking water to remote rural areas grappling with unreliable or absent electricity supply, our Solar Business division has undertaken a significant project for Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (DGVCL) in Gujarat. We have successfully designed, constructed, and commissioned 110 units of Solar Pump Systems (SPS) tailored for diverse applications, including agricultural irrigation, remote water supply, and residential use. These systems boast capacities ranging from 0.5 hp to 25 hp, reflecting our commitment to sustainable water solutions.
In addition to the Solar Pump Systems, we have implemented 688 units of Solar High Mast Systems (SHMS), each with a capacity of 900 Wp. These systems harness solar energy to illuminate expansive outdoor spaces such as highways, parking lots, airports, seaports, industrial facilities, and sports complexes, contributing to energy-efficient lighting solutions.
This project not only underscores our dedication to advancing clean energy solutions but also represents a crucial initiative to ensure access to safe drinking water, particularly in regions with deep water tables. By harnessing solar energy, we eliminate dependence on conventional electricity, enhancing the reliability and sustainability of water supply for local communities in Gujarat. This endeavour is a testament to our commitment to environmental stewardship and the well-being of the communities we serve.
